The Mac 168 Large angle Contour Brush review- This brush comes from the mac natural brush collection and it has a bit of fluffiness. This rounded bristled angled brush because it’s made from goat hair tends to hold onto colour for a longer time.
It is famous as a contouring brush, particularly for larger areas like the hollow of the cheeks, forehead, and jaw line and it works very well.

It is a bit oversized for smaller areas like the nose.

The bristles are super soft and never ever shed on me. I think the best part of this brush is that it NEVER stains. Every time I use this with my bronzers/blushes, they wash out and the brush looks brand new.But I don’t mind spending money for quality. It applies blush and bronzer beautifully. Yes its smaller in person than I expected but it works really well.

Despite being touted as a contour brush, the 168 works well for applying thicker foundations like Studio Sculpt, applying blush more precisely, and blending out product.

So far its holding up well, good quality. And I am really convinced that MAC’s white bristles are much nicer than their black bristles through the 6 full sized brushes that I own.

This is probably my favorite MAC brush and I don’t think a cheaper angle brush will be as good quality

If you are just starting your Mac brush collection then this is a must have. I definitely consider this one of those classic, basic brushes that you can never go wrong purchasing.

After much abuse in washing this brush, the shape and density is still there and because you will be using it all the time it will need more frequent cleansing.
